12th Annual BC Aquaculture Golf Tournament
Campbell River, September 08, 2012. Positive Aquaculture Awareness hosted their 12th Annual BC Aquaculture Tournament at Glacial Greens in Comox on September 8, 2012. Twenty four teams representing salmon producers, aquaculture suppliers and the BC Salmon Farmers Association joined us at Glacial Greens for a fun day of golf.
We were pleased to welcome golfers from Allpen Diving & Flotation, Aon Insurance Brokers, Badinotti Net Services, Browns Bay Packing, BC Salmon Farmers Association, Grieg Seafoods, Mainstream Canada, Marine Harvest Canada, NAPA Canada, Noboco, PHD Logistics, Sea Roamer Marine Services, Skretting Canada, Tidal Enterprises and Walcan Seafood to the tournament.
After a day of golf, several teams and golfers were recognized for their golfing efforts on the greens.
Winning Team: Price Logistics
Best Mixed Team: Marine Harvest Canada with Nick Facey & Kirk Vardy
Most Honest Team: Badinotti Net Services Team#1
Closest to Pin Golfers: Bonna Miller, Badinotti Net Services Team#2
Longest Drive Golfers: Cory Horan, Price Logistics and Lisa Smith, Badinotti Net Services Team

During the tournament there were some serious golfing attempts to take home $10,000 for a Hole in One on Hole #7. The $10,000 Hole in One was sponsored by Aon Insurance Brokers. Check out our Facebook photo album to see some great photos of golfers on Hole#7.
