Following her modus operandi, anti-salmon farming crusader Alexandra Morton is again attempting to freak out those who may listen.
This past weekend, she posted a photo of a Pacific herring with classic viral haemorrhagic septicaemia virus (VHSV) symptoms. She concludes her Facebook post with “Norway, do you know anything about this?” – cheekily suggesting that salmon farms are responsible.
VHSV is a common fish virus. Yes, you read that right. It is a common fish virus, found in over 25 species of fish in many States in the US and two provinces in Canada.
