Terry O'Neill attaches too much religious irony to the anti-fish farming protesters. Their motives are more profane (with a large dose of profit thrown in). The real opposition to fish farms is that they are non-union, free enterprise businesses that compete directly with the government subsidized killers of wild salmon and their allies on the extreme left funded by U.S.-based environmental groups such as The Tides Foundation.
In short, the usual suspects. Hohum.
